We try our best to match the carer with each of our clients from the outset. Where a carer does not “gel” with a particular service user, we will introduce alternative carers until the client is happy. We aim to provide regular carers to our service users.

5 Care Services take all complaints seriously and we do have a definitive procedure to follow whether a complaint is made verbally or in writing to us. We will conduct a full investigation immediately once the complaint has been received and aim to investigate with all complaints within a 28 day period.

If you are paying for your care privately then you will need to contact us to arrange an assessment of your needs before we can provide any care. If your care is funded through social services, then you will need to contact them to discuss your options.

During the initial assessment you will be asked to sign a contract for the number of hours provided per week. You will be invoiced at the end of each month and can pay via cheque or cash.

A member of our senior management team will come out and do a risk assessment in your home to ensure that it is safe for you and the care/support workers. During this assessment you will be asked some questions about your likes and dislikes and what support you need so that we can inform the care/support workers before they start your visits.
